The meals served, particularly the fillet steak, stood out as remarkable, showcasing high-quality preparation that truly impressed. The organized events, marked by professional execution, lent a sense of reliability and assurance for gatherings.
The radiator situation was a real downer. walking into a frigid room only to discover the heating was barely making an effort was frustrating. Plus, I was unlucky with room neighbors. the noise from a wedding party made it hard to relax. Then there was the surprise visit from housekeeping too early in the day—might want to double-check if guests are checking out before barging in.

great breakfast and grounds
I spent 3 nights solo and really enjoyed the lovely old house and its beautiful grounds. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Had breakfast each day, and wow, the options were on point—especially loved the egg dishes! Only bummer was the bar prices felt a bit high. But overall, a nice place for a chill stay.

We had such a lovely time here! The room was spacious and clean, and nothing beat relaxing in the beautiful garden or the cozy lounge area. If I had to nitpick, the Wi-Fi was a bit slow, but it didn't ruin our experience at all. 😊

I stayed for three nights in a Double Room at the Garvock House Hotel. The room felt spacious and was clean, providing a comfy atmosphere. The restaurant served fantastic meals. I had a perfectly cooked filet steak and my colleague enjoyed delightful vegetarian options. The staff impressed with their attentiveness and friendliness, offering a warm welcome from check-in to check-out. I faced issues with the breakfast reservation. I remembered I had selected a non-refundable option without breakfast but wanted to change it upon arrival. The hotel refused my request, which felt a bit rigid. I noticed inconsistent housekeeping, as some amenities weren't replenished. WiFi performance in the room was weak, causing disruptions during my work hours. Another downside was the dinner service taking longer than expected, which can be frustrating after a long day.
